Operations

The brewery “FORST” was founded by two men who lived in Merano in the year 1857. In 1863 Josef Fuchs became the owner of the factory. Forst is not only a brewery, but also a restaurant and a beer garden. They also produce mineral water and some other non-alcoholic drinks. They use many modern technologies to brew their beer which is very famous for its bitter taste. Recently they have invented a new beer and it´ s called “Forst 1857”. This beer tastes like the beer that was invented many years ago. Forst has many different kinds of beer like Kronen, Sixtus and Premium.
